Bought these bulbs to convert my old motorcycle to LEDS . These are probably at least twice as bright as the old incandesent bulbs . Fit right in the 1156 socket . Cool little bulbs ! -

My application was replacing halogen map lamps. The clear reflector fit, but the aluminum crimp ring connecting the base to the clear plastic was too big to fit inside the map light. So I had to cut that off and file the rough edges down. -

This was a nice easy upgrade for a old ray-o-vac 6v bulb I have had for years. Brightness is superior to the filament bulb, quality looks good. -

This one lamp is a 24 volt lamp and can be used at 6v, 12v or 24 volts ...and the ouput lumens are directly proportionate to the voltage. With 24 volts applied it gives full "brightness" output lumens. With 12 volts applied it gives 1/2 "brightness" output lumens. With 6 volts applied it gives 1/4 "brightness" output lumens. it's probably not intentional .
